Where are the fatties?
I keep reading about the "epidemic" of obesity transforming our formerly slim youth into great gobs of gelatinous roooling fat. According to those ringing the alarm bells up to a third of Ontario yung uns are now grossly obese.
Shocking ........
Except ...........
I have two sons in the primary Catholic school system in Ontario. I look for the legions of tubbies waddling through the halls of my kids' school. What do my eyes see? A very few kids overweight. Most are just fine.
So .......
Either my kids go to a school where the laws of fast food trans-fat are suspended, or .....
We are being had ............

I am protecting the world from transfats by eating all the McDonald burgers that I can. Fat is less dense than water and, according to archmedes, this should provide something of a lifebelt here in thebog. Lean frogs have to swim fast to stay afloat. Fat frogs can grow old gracefully when the arthiritis prevents speed swimming.
Maybe this makes me a victim of something and the newly elected Demorats will send money.

Maybe its a Catholic thing. Going to confession keeps one skinny? (Not a hypothesis I am defending with vigour, mind you.)
